Faith and Leadership

At SNU, faith and leadership go hand in hand. Thanks to donors like you, pastoral ministry major and recent graduate Daniel Diaz, known as DY, grew closer to Jesus while learning how to serve others. His scholarships gave him the freedom to focus on his calling, and his pastoral internship allowed him to help lead worship and see firsthand how a church functions. As Daniel shares, your generosity “gives students the opportunity to be part of a loving and caring community.”

Academics and Careers

Scholarships change lives. Thanks to donor-funded scholarships, Ana Victoria Philliber was able to attend SNU, pursue her passion for science, and grow into the educator she is today. Now an SNU alum and biology professor, she has returned to campus, where her hands-on classes help students discover their own paths.

Community and Global Engagement

Empowered to serve and make a difference in the world. Mathematics major Hunter Baugher came to SNU on a rugby scholarship, and it changed everything. The scholarship gave him the chance to focus and grow as a student while deepening his faith. He also had the opportunity to serve on a mission trip to Brazil, carrying lessons of faith and leadership into the world.

Creating Culture

At SNU, every student is given the chance to flourish—no matter their background. Scholarships, a supportive community, and a campus rooted in Christlike love and respect help students grow academically, socially, and spiritually. Jill Pense embodies this mission. She lit up the moment she stepped on campus and hasn’t stopped smiling since. A nursing major, Jill welcomes future students as a campus tour guide and serves as a resident advisor.
